Feeling Crafty?

Since I did not post the picture I took yesterday, and it went right along with the picture I took today, I figured they could share a blog post! I am making valentines treat boxes for both the boy's classes. With the aid of my Cricut machine these are fairly simple to make. The Cricut cuts out the box design and all I have to do is fold on the dotted line, a little glue here and there, and tada! I have a cute little heart box. I placed vellum over the heart hole since I could not find celephane at out "Diet Walmart". I then placed 6 Hershey kisses in each box. All I have to do is place the tag (the void of the heart window) on each of them with some ribbon (missing in the house at the moment) and I will be done. Oh except for the minor fact that I only have 3 of them folded and I have to make 44 of them :)


Today I made a cute little gift for Kyle's Teacher. It is not much but I hope she will like it. I used the Cricut again to cut a little gift bag. I then cut out flowers, put them together and taped them to some pencils for the stems. I placed the pencils in the bag with tissue paper. I was hoping to put the small gift inside but the bag was a bit small so I wrapped it in tissue and placed an extra flower on the outside.
